This seems so familiar to me. (Deja Vu)
On Last season's first Autumn Migration, wasn't it Waba that kept flying South, then a few days later, fly North, back & forth, all over the same regions until Waba was in an isolated area with no Wi-Fi until the last data came in of the season?
Or was it a different Storklet?
Or did I only dream that?
If it did, I now wonder if Waba gets easily turned around while forging for food?

This is certainly great news to receive a signal from Bonus!
I knew that if anybirdie Lil' Black Stork(let) could send a signal with a 0% battery...Bonus is the one!

And being a Prayer Warrior to Jesus...
When circumstanial situations arise that are way beyond our control, we must to learn to have the Faith to give it to God!
(didn't say it was easy).

and just for giggles in "The Black Stork/let World"-

Wouldn't it be something if maybe someday in a future Seasonal Migration along their long journey, there will be a rest stop/self service station that will be able to charge batteries, provide fine tune ups and energize solar panels on those GPS Transmitter backpack devices that Black Storks wear?
Then when the BS's finish their diagnostic/maintenance assembly line, large quantities of fresh fishies will be provided LOL

Waba is still in Ukraine, but we have not got an overflow of data points with this session.
After foraging, s/he started travelling at the ponds near Bilozerivka and Korolivka direction north, but then made a turn to south


Last data point shows Waba still in flight, with a speed of 55 km/h and in an altitude of 1350 meters


For compare: Waba yesterday, at the fish ponds foraging, is in an altitude of 277 meters


Is Waba making hight and pace to move further away than the last sightseeing tours here?
We will see tomorrow ....

Kaia is still in the same area in Ukraine, east of the Desna River. She spent quite some time in this area last year too.
