Good morning everybody!

It has been a cold night again.
04:45 Change of shift. Ivo flies from the dead tree and takes on the incubation. Iiris flies off.


04:57 Iiris returns carrying a stick. Ivo leaves.

Iiris brought a large bunch of dry branches to the nest. Frost on feathers melted. A minute later flew away. She flew to warm up further, and Ivo was left to incubate.

Ivo today is a secretary bird. He has a feather stuck on the beak near the eye and does not want to peel off.

we have a very cold May in Europe. In February, we had +18. Now it is -1 at night, +9 in daytime, but it feels like frost because of strong winds.
