Karl II is singing arrived the nest and shortly afterwards this female came to him.

10:42 Karl II brings the strange female back to the nest


10:49 both are back. Karl is sitting in the nest

10:52 she flew away. Good girl :whistling:
10:53 she is back. both are singing. courtship behavior
10:55 she poops into the nest
10:56 she flew to the right
10:56:55 Karl flew after her

The female reminds me of a visitor from last year. Kaia was sitting on the eggs when the visitor landed in the nest.
I remember those light brown feathers.

Of course there are other black storks with light brown feathers.

don't worry. Kaia will be here in time. Even if the two mate, Kaia will take over the nest again

I've often asked myself that question. Will she lay eggs and if so where.. I don't know
EDIT: I really saw some together for a long time. It was very likely that she produced an egg.

you might be right, even though she's ringless. They tend to go where they've been before. It was the same with Karl II. When he first came, he was not welcome. Karl I was here
