14:21 Teo landed with a headless fish, Warning! both are protecting the nest and the female is chirping, an osprey flew over the nest

14:27 Now it's peace, Teo is still standing with his fish and seems that female isn't interested in it

14:40 Finally female got the fish from Teo, 14:41 Teo jumped on the cam stand

14:44 Female is standing with her fish, doesn't eat it, 15:06 ...is still standing

May I ask a question?
I know that the female Osprey is usually larger.. but is there any other way to distinguish male from female?

I think something about the markings on the chest?

Jojo :wave: , the female osprey has much more dark chest feathers than the male

15:58 Both are standing - female still with her fish, Teo on the nest rim :laugh:
16:05 Female jumped on the cam stand with the fish

16:20 She is eating her fish on the cam stand, Teo is standing on the nest

EDIT: I scrolled back and at 17:35 Teo brought a nice headless fish :thumbs: , the female is all the time standing on the nest with fish :rolleyes:

The new lady stands on the nest. 18:16 Teo comes too and made a quicky with her :laugh: , looks successful to me. Then Teo left the lady again.

19:32 Teo landed and tried to grab the fish from the female, without success :mrgreen:

19:37 Female began to eat her fish :laugh:
19:39 Teo left

19:47 The fish is gone, she swallowed the fish tail and cleaned her beak
19:50 She flew away and landed on the top of the pine in the background

19:32 Teo drive in with an headless fish. That was funny, at first the fish lands, then Teo. The lady got it.

Birdfriend :wave: , it was the fish from 17:35 delivery, female stood with it all the time, didn't eat it, at 19:32 Teo landed without fish and tried several times to grab the fish from the female, without success :rotf:

Ah okay, this fish was hidden behind the lady. She stands at the same place for so long, I couldn't see a fish... :mrgreen:

13:35 Teo brought a huge branch, is working in the nest, 13:49 he left

EDIT: I scrolled back and there was fish delivery by Teo at 12:07, female took it and flew away
