Good morning

What a surprise !
With an open mouth I was amazed at how quickly Kati was bonded and mated with the fascinating "Karl the Second".
In case, he would certainly be a worthy successor, as beautiful and as industrious as he is
( not only in bringing in branches and moss ).

I would like to contribute the one or the other picture. Unfortunately I can not read the time stamp, too small for my poor eyes.

Kati! what are you doing?

The stunningly pretty seems to be as good a nest builder as he is interested in matings.
And Kati does the fine work, arranging the branches, sticks and moss.

It's a normal behavior of Kati. She came to reproduce.

Kati will mate with Karl.. I saw a similar situation on the Latvian nest. There was another female. Ozols (Male) mated with the strange female. When Zile came home, there was a fight between the females. Zile won.

Abigyl, is my answer to chrisitz . We have had two females and poor Ozols

I do not know what I want! It is like it is.
As Urmas said, it is good that the nest is occupied. And it looks very good right now

9:53 Male is sitting in the nest. Kati went in the nest- she is doing a PS and starts preening herself. Male stands up.
10:12 Mating
Kati sneezes now and then.

10:18 fanned white tail by Kati.
Male settles down in the nest
Still 10:18 Kati is preening his head.. he stands up

10:19 Kati is preening him with very long neck


10:22 Kati on the right

10:24 Mating No. 13
7:28 was the first mating. Now it is 10:24.. that's are three hours

10:29 Male settles down again. Kati is preening him and herself


10:35 both are standing .. dancing starts

10:40 Kati flew away. Male is whistling and flew right after her.

A break for me

I need a break. The weather is great here and I will do a bike ride. There are many migrations bird here in my area. Maybe today I get good pictures of the stork with the ring
