As always.

Another feeding
18:05:23 Look at these 1-day old chicks!

18:06:14 This time, the chick in the middle is really in a bad position.

18:06:21 It realised that it was hopeless to try to turn around, and decided to sleep.

Again, Kati seems to be annoyed by something under her belly.
She gets up several times. I think something is itching or biting
19:22:18 She preens her chicks rather nervously.
Is she looking for parasites?

19:46:24 Feeding. One chick didn't participate. Not hungry?

I'm sorry, visit, I do not see it better.

But I think I saw both.

19:50 Karl II is rolling 1 egg and 3 chicks.

The poor chick is upside down. Its head is under the egg.

Karl keeps getting bumped from underneath - it makes his whole body jump. I guess the little guys might be hungry or something. He gets up, rolls the remaining egg, preens his young vigorously, then lays back down.

18. May
good Morning
04:27
Karl II works (nibbles, cleans the little ones)

05:15
Gets up again (he tries to choke, nothing comes out)

Then something comes out (little)
A little one looks the wrong way. I do not know what you and how much you ate. Karl took something back in his beak

Kati comes with some grass, Karl II gets up and flies away
Kati feeds, first a fish came out and then black mass (?)
The first two ate something the third had a bad position

9:30 the parent (I can never tell which is which) moves the shell to the side of the nest.
