Hello everyone!
I see, about half of the incubation time is done. Still some patience until
If questions arise, go regularly to the entrance posts of Bea. It took me a long time myself to discover this as a great enrichment. Even if you don't have a question but have some time left, that's helpful, because the order becomes more and more familiar to you. At some point you can easily find your way around.
Today I have some time for the ospreys and hope that in the evening I can present a video with a few impressions from today...

Ivo gives alarms, first makes a helicopter over the nest. Then he sits on the stand for the camera.
Iiris nestles to the bottom of the nest. On the right you can see the osprey.
Then Ivo flies away to chase the osprey. Iiris also leaves the nest.

@Sappheira, thank you for your comments and pics.
According to Ivo's nest-building practice lately this upward pointing branch seems to be a new piece of furniture dropped on the nest, isn't it?
@Mogga - great you have time for the ospreys today, already looking forward to the video.

This year's nest looks a bit cramped.
The center of the nest is very small and lined with branches.
New Lady, new order.

What an alarmful and stressful day!
Sappheira, you are right - new Lady, new order. Those very complicated branches are maybe Ivo's task for Iiris to find them good places.

What wonderful posts and photos from so many - thank you.
Side issue - the Montana female osprey whose longtime partner has mostly abandoned her for another female, left the nest and her eggs and hasn't been spotted in over 24 hours. A very sad couple of days. Two years ago her osprets all died of starvation, and last year only one remained.

Good morning everyone!
HelenL44, What a sad situation. It is strange that this is repeated from year to year ...
