Much too long for a V. berus.
I´m quite sure it´s a Natrix natirx (Grass Snake). Only other possibility would be Natrix tesselata (Dice Snake).

I thing Natrix tesselata (Dice Snake). I cannot decide it. From him I do not have enough documentations.
