It is making me dizzy watching. Many thanks for all the beautiful pics. There must be a hatching due anytime now, just hope the wind dies down for Llmar and Irmas sake. It must be a worry for them when there is such strong winds, also it is much more difficult to fish.

Any brooding bird should not allow the eggs and the nestbowl to get wet. :slap:
Not good !! Plus the leaving eggs uncovered for varying times.

While feeding the first one that hatched the other egss will not be covered by any parent for many minutes. If there is life in those eggs the birds will already have enough power to open an egg shell and a little rain will do no harm to the birds inside the eggs.
The eggs will become to hot if sitting on them without a brake once in a while. The rain should not be so cold. It would be more dangerous to leave the eggs in the heat of the sun which has not happened so far.
I believe there is no reason to worry. I also believe they know what they are doing just like Madis and Piret did last year.

Luz4711 - what about your post with only the quoted picture from molly?

Do you want to add something else or was it quoted by mistake? If so - I will delete it.

Not really a mistake. I left one oft the pictures from molly in there and made a comment to the poor loking fish that was brought on top of the picture. There where others posts after it.
Fish seems to be a almost empty left over
But you can delete it, its not so important. If I look at it now it could be missunderstood. I deleted the quote. Thank you.
