Hi everyone! :hi:

After some quiet days, a lot of movement yesterday. Only Trauma has remained in the same area, Kerli is already in Lithuania, Nurme has reappeared further to the north in Ukraine, and Kuremari has reached Bulgaria. :thumbs:

Last night, Kerli was about 395 km (edited) away from Kergu's nest, as the crow flies.
By land transport, of course, it's more kilometres.
The flying weather over Lithuania and Latvia is favourable today (Sunday, April 13th).

Theoretically, Kerli could be in Estonia today evening, if she is in a big hurry.
However, I think it is more likely that she will arrive in Pärnu County tomorrow (Monday). As you wrote. :nod:

It will be exciting to see if Kerli will fly to Kergu's nest.
There might occur some competition with other Estonian single males to seduce/attract Kerli.
Kergu will have to do the best he can. :D

So much going on right now. As I am writing this, Kerli has indeed found her way back to Kergu, and Karula nest has its first visitor, who seems to have a serious interest. :loveshower:

Our tracked birds also made lots of kilometers yesterday. Nurme flew over 500 km, he is now in Lithuania. Trauma has moved on and reached Ukraine, Kuremari is in Romania now.

Our BlackStorks have flown nicely towards Estonia...
Kergu, Kerli, and Nurme have already arrived,
Kuremari and Trauma are also approaching at a good pace.
But there has been no sighting or hearing of Timmu and Waba?

Hi Treia,

Timmu's transmitter already had many issues last year. We will have to wait for news, it may be that he is in Estonia already, but never sent any data. Waba is still young and could still appear, but of course you cannot rule out transmitter problems or something bad. We'll just have to wait if anything pops up.
