I don't know how Chrome copes with scientific terminology - not too well, I suppose.
It looks pretty good to me but a few terms it just leaves them in German. Other than that, I wouldn't even realize I was reading translated text.

Interesting question! What happened to lenny? Isn't he still living?
Surely Lenny's beak is not completly damaged. I think and hope that the "compass" within his eyes will do it's job.
Dr. Madis treated Lenny for 6 weeks or more. The beak was so badly damaged and did not heal. It would not have been possible for Lenny to find and eat food on his own. He was euthanased.

Thank you, in the meantime I've read some reports about the accident.
Very sad. However, I would be interested in Dr. Madis' opinion.

Piret seems afraid to venture into the dessert

Image

No wonder. It must be surreal walking through the Egyptian desert and found an osprey there, without fish, in the middle of nowhere, sleeping in rocks like the other night:

The following photos of Panoramio (I found in Google Earth) were taken in the area adjacent to the cliff, within 7 km (click on the link):

Pusi is living in Hortobágy near the place where Ilze is staying. Pusi found Ilze on the second day.
Ilze was sitting on this branch, and was visible from a long distance.

When Ilze saw Pusi she flew away towards that bush.

You can see that bush too in this map.

I saw there are big sandstorms at the left side of the Nile. And also in the south.
Yesterday I saw a big accident in the dessert because of the sandstorms, also with fire, but I can not find it back. It was an accident with two trucks. People who where there on the road could not go further and they wher sleeping in little white tents together. The road stops ,there was no road anymore.
