Thanks for the information. So we still have one more week or so before getting worried! (Last year Kati arrived on the same day as Karl, if I remember well, but of course this could very well have been a pure coincidence. It probably was.)
Yes, I saw that statement too, about Black Storks not being monogamous.
They are monogamous during the breeding season, but not necessarily for a lifetime. But after a successful breeding they often return both to the same nest, don't they? (At least, that is what I have been reading...)

yes, they do! They return to this place every years. If a partner doesn't come, they choose another when one is available.
