The data is looking very odd

On the previous msg the date it was written is: April 11th, 2018, 7:21 pm

But I describe an event from: 21:57 on the same date.

There must be a synchronization between local nest time and the data put on the forum.

Hello together  ,

thank you, Liz and all, for the interesting informations (about fighting outside of nest and more) and pictures! :2thumbsup:
I can't watch the cam at the moment because of much work, and appreciate a lot to read your news in the evening.
Liz01 wrote: April 10th, 2018, 4:21 pm If I understood everything correctly, a new couple is in the nest and the couple 2017 is trying to get this nest.
This would be really sad for the Black Storks who had bred here in 2017. When I imagine, something like this would happen to Karl and Kati, - storks who are almost like "family members". Their nest occupied by a strange couple, only because they had arrived few days later. And there's no chance to get back the nest ... :faint:
I'm thinking about the consequences for this couple which will follow, particularly when I read this here today: "... but good trees for building a nest are rare". I feel very sorry for this nice couple.

In spite of everything I'm glad that fights for this nest obviously have found an end. It is certainly good, that the new couple mated continuous; it is to hope that they now really start with nest building. First steps in this direction are done.

Have a good night all!

:loveshower: Hi everyone! Congratulations on the first black storks' egg this season.
And the nest also looks pretty decent and well prepared. How fast did they manage!
I'm happy. Wishing a nice day to all of the birds and observers.

Michi,
We all think and feel like you , about the previous couple.

When I started watching the cams, years ago (Long before I had the courage to write a word  ), I always saw the suggestions of the moderators, to remember that we think and feel like human. With the years I understood that we have to change our "disc" while watching the nests and try to think from their point of view.
Yes, it's very hard to do!

Yesterday I watched a Bald Eagle mom feeding her 2 first and the third little one - was "forgotten". I stopped watching, it wasn't for me :slap: .

We should know our limits and protect ourselves. I hope that I understood correctly the point of your msg.

I wish us all a good season without bad events
