Sulev had someting in his beak.

sulev yelled out at a bird and this went on until linda came and joined in. then i saw a big bird flying off into the distance. sulev then took off and now linda is in the nest.

the sky is really beautiful this morning - a heavy dark grey, sunlight coming through... and the sea in the distance seems bluer than yesterday...

i've got that on video, but the sound is again so much in advance of picture. it seemed to me that there was another eagle who first flew over the nest and then in the back. Sulev called to it like hell... then Linda came home and they both watched how the third eagle flew by the nest to the back.


when they were sure that the third was gone Sulev left and Linda stays.


to me the sky looks frightening...
who know how much snow is coming.. i'll have to check the forecast.

i don't seem to find prediction for today but the the coming week does not look very "springy". it will be cold nights and more snow on the way.

it has already become cloudy. i think some ravens flew by and Linda called to them.

the clouds in the East - NorthEast are so dark when their underparts are in shadow.

i tried to find local weather prediction for Silma today but i only found this which covers all Estonia i think:

Sulev came home with his beak all dirty. he seems to have brought some black half-eaten bird.




Linda whistled and wheened happily to him and got up to eat. now her beak is all bloody.
EDIT: later i noticed that there has been an automatic anti-swear-word-detector-and-replacement-generator in action here. it changed the word bl**dy with two o's into 'accursed' which is not what i had in mind. i tried to write bl**dy in the meaning "covered/smeard with blood".
bl**dy can be a proper adjective, too, can it not, and not only a swearword?
yes it can be a proper decent word. so i'll edit them in Britta's and Nancy's posts so that they can be read as they were meant. 'accursed' is here misleading.

Linda had quite a lot to say to him - the vocalizations were fascinating!

Linda finished eating and flew off to the left.

Linda ate a long time and then she flew off at about 10:59.

and finally Linda left at 10:58.

Sulev began to call and then an eagle landed on the spruce top in the back. i guess it's Linda.

now that i watched the video again i noticed that Linda first flew straight over the nest and then made a curve and landed on the spruce in the back. Sulev called to her all the time with his neck upright.

5 seconds later Linda took off from the back tree.

14 s later Linda landed on the nest.
