GT: Male2 Kaupo (in honor of the historical person who came from a certain region) and the Lady2 remain Gaja (the name of the goddess who personifies the land)

Hello Liz,

could you capture a video of the incedence with the raven today? I was witness too, but could not save it. It was very much interesting because of the ravens calls which you rarely have a chance to hear in this way. I would very much like to show it to a birder friend.

BTW It wasn't not a cool reaction, in German ornithologists call the behaviour "Übersprungsverhalten" (displacement activity), which can be preening, pulling twigs on the nest or something else. It's nervous behaviour and does not seem to fit to the situation.

it was not a "Übersprungverhalten" .. That's the behavior in cats.not in birds!
