I'm sad, because I can not watch it
I think that isn't Ozols nest.. the tree is not a oak.

12:31 a Raven

He chased him away
12:33 the Raven is on the right.. Male is pretty cool- he is preening himself

12:34 The raven flew away
He is very calm. I saw it differently with Zile and Ozols. They were very upset, if an Raven or Buzzard was in sight.
video later
it starts 12:28

Hello Liz,
could you capture a video of the incedence with the raven today? I was witness too, but could not save it. It was very much interesting because of the ravens calls which you rarely have a chance to hear in this way. I would very much like to show it to a birder friend.
BTW It wasn't not a cool reaction, in German ornithologists call the behaviour "Übersprungsverhalten" (displacement activity), which can be preening, pulling twigs on the nest or something else. It's nervous behaviour and does not seem to fit to the situation.

14:52 one of them flew away
leonia wrote:could you capture a video of the incedence with the raven today?
Leonia, I will do it after my work
it was not a "Übersprungverhalten" .. That's the behavior in cats.not in birds!
14:58 was here and is away again
