Hmm, I do not know maybe it is a feather of a black coot or so.

here's another picture at 14:32. these two are the only ones that i have today with clear view to the back. maybe those feathers are Cadillac wings feathers?

Linda changed position and i think the pointy feathers disappeared.

yes - i think it is some feather that i see - either there is a feather just there or i keep seeing sulev or linda's wing feather (cadillac wing!) -

edit: but am going to start looking more at the nest itself for this 'thing'!

Linda doing her rusty door hinge and Sulev coming in, landing more on Linda than next to her - lot of beeping ans whistling

Hi :
Can anyone tell me the link to Linda's live nest cam? I have found it to say "not found" but I see posts relating to the live cam. I am very excited that the season has started and hope it will be a good one and safe for the eaglets. Thanks

Hi wildflowers  and good morning (very early morning here)!

The link to the WTE camera with Linda and Sulev is http://pontu.eenet.ee/player/saunja.html

It shuts down when it gets dark and starts again with daylight. So today in about 1 hour the nest can been watched again.

Thank you, Lispet for that info. I am not used to the time differences and that is probably why it was never available when I was on...Thanks again

Good morning!
Yes, blackbird is singing and the raindrops crackle against the microphone. Linda is awake and doesn't look very happily.

:hi: She does look like a little wet rat, poor Linda. But I don't think it's freezing weather at least. I'm glad eagles can brave the weather so well.

How old is Linda I wonder, I don't think I've ever seen their ages.

Thank you for the answer! She's lived quite a long life so far and many more years to come I hope. I read that it's possible for these eagles to live 25 years, though a little less than that is average.

I find it amazing that they continue to have eaglets their entire life :book: .
