13:13-13:14 I have seen a black stork in its nest bring water in hot weather, both for the little ones to drink and to cool the nest.

Afternoon and evening events are missing (chronologically fit poop tracking in püsikaamera)

Morning and midday events are missing.
At first a trip without a plan and comments, then some usual camera views

Yes, there were some cameras in Germany a long time ago (https://birdcams.live/webcam/bird-nest/ ... cormorants), but the resolution was bad and I am not sure whether there is any footage remaining.Made wrote: May 20th, 2025, 2:35 am Thanks, Kunter, for the explanation!
The two camera recordings will be a good basis for research.
Do you know any other cormorant camera recordings in the world?
I tried to fix some of the positions of the automatic camera because the camera was not directed at some of the nests when zoomed in. I hope it helped.
Here is a picture of a hooded crow picking up some leftover pieces of fish yesterday:

oh, yes, such a small format... if the camera is not rotatable, then the colony that can be observed is smallKunter wrote: May 20th, 2025, 11:59 am Yes, there were some cameras in Germany a long time ago (https://birdcams.live/webcam/bird-nest/ ... cormorants), but the resolution was bad and I am not sure whether there is any footage remaining.

Yes, I noticed that the little ones are better be seen in the nestsKunter wrote: May 20th, 2025, 11:59 am I tried to fix some of the positions of the automatic camera because the camera was not directed at some of the nests when zoomed in. I hope it helped.

This one in particular is great - even on a dark night, the daylight mode turned on only for this view, then turned off again :)

The crow is great! I didn't notice her, but I missed some of the live broadcast. I'll see what I could capture on May 19.

Today the live stream is offline from 9 AM to 2 PM (possibly less or more) because the people who are going to count breeding birds there today wanted some privacy. This is part of the small marine island breeding bird count that takes place every year. I asked them to clean our cameras as well while they are there. If they don't forget, then we should soon have a bit better picture quality.
//edit: unfortunately the cameras were not cleaned. They thought that the nestlings are already too big to safely approach the cameras withouth them trying to escape. Nests were counted from a safe distance. The fate of the chicks is more important than clear picture.
