Not foresight, Jopie.
Hindsight! It happens with webcams and no-one ever gets used to it!

Visitor posted about the pronunciation of the T in Tiit. I remembered an Estonian friend trying to teach my late husband how to say Tiit. The T sound was probably half way between T and D. It is not a sound that occurs in the English language. I have tried and I can't do it! My brain says there is t and there is d and nothing in between!

I think it happens to every webcam, sooner or later. Unless someone knows of one that never stops?

Jo, I hate it when that happens. Want to follow the events! 1 consolation, at cam 1 there are wonderful birds songs. Yesterday between 4 and 7 pm it was overwhelming. Heard the cuckoo, thrush, woodpecker and much more I don't even recognise. As far as this cam is concerned, we just have to wait (again  )

What???
You heard a cuckoo?

We don't expect them here yet. Late May perhaps.
Is this the usual time for cuckoos in Estonia?

I remember listening to one on the webcam at midnight on midsummer day

As camera turned on by itself (we did not act specially), that means it is a bit out of our control and similar situation could happen in the future again.
Clear it that disconnection was caused by missing of power in forest, so camera itself is OK, but power system on solar panels is unwilling to work perfectly...
We try to understand reason, at least theoretically!

Hopfully it will transmit continuosly, but who knows...
This is a bit different system as other three, should be easier and more stable, but actually in theory only. We will see!

Indeed, the camera works. :loveshower: Thank you, Urmas.

Tiina sits on the nest, and Tiit cleans feathers on the balcony. It must be very hot, when Tiina sits with an open beak.

 Good afternoon!

The eggs are shining! How many are they?? At least three, but perhaps.. we will see soon.
Both Black storks are fine. Life on the nest seems to be perfect.

If Tiina be punctual as a Swiss watch :innocent:, tomorrow morning we should see the fourth egg. After the deposit of the third egg Tiit ...

They seem to be content, no hurry to anywhere, just to put feathers in order and to rest. The forest seems to be safety and calm.
