I heard a car start up but not the voices. I have hopes that someone quietly and politely snapped an image for us so we know what they are up to in the big world.

Oh no!!! I was not watching last night and I have missed so much!!!

Wouldn't it be so fun to see them sitting on a branch blinking and taking in their big new world. Flapping and moving about (and kindly returning to their branch so that we can see them). So far I have enjoyed the owls the most and I will miss them.
I have read that young owls often return to nest for days, to sleep there. Ofcourse once they learn to fly properly. We still have a chance

Yes, my words... but we can be sure that they will be fed properly at least - no bigger siblings to take most food
(Btw, nice cats and nice haircolour, lentilko

Good morning!
Looks so empty in Tawny's place!
Leonia asked on page 115 for the English word for takkeling or
Ästling: the word in English is : brancher. Not sooo far from "branchling" .
Found some cams:

It is quiet in the nest without those two "disturbers" perching up in the entrance hall
A bit of pecking:

People were passing by talking loudly, chicks jumped back down. Number 3 did it in a rash and ended up lying on side

And remained like that until the "danger" was gone
