10:37 he stands up.. is preening himself
10:44 sings and looks in the direction from which he always flies to the nest. One approach path for all?

The nest looks great.

This branch of the tree is integrated in the nest. It is a thin and very flexible branch. :shake:
Kaupo wanted to use it the year before, but he did not succeed.

Liz, you did a fantastic job here! Thank you very much. :2thumbsup:
It is very fascinating to see how the nest was constructed. It is amazing. What a handy and smart BS!

Now we hope that a female will arrive soon and that the new nest will be inhabited.

:hi: Hello, Liz,

the nest looks fine and Kaupo did a good job, but isn't it a bit small? I remember Karl's three storklets - there would not be enough room for three in this nest. Or am I wrong?

....
Anne :hi: you're very welcome :D

It's really amazing how they do it, just with their beak! Just fantastic. Unfortunately, his working hours are very unfavorable.
If he starts at 6:30, it's 5:30 minus 1 hour because of summer time. So it is 4:30  I'm totally overwhelmed at this early morning hour!
I hope he will finished the nest soon

Anne, it's pretty late .. I think there's no free female.Females are rare.

aquiline :hi: it's not finished yet. He will build on it all season .. more or less.
The size is already good. For the eggs it would be enough and also for breeding. Last year it was not much bigger and we had 4 little storks here!
