Tiny is up in the doorway again -- looking out over her parent's territory

Looks to be a rather dreary day in parts of Estonia. (Maybe hail at the WTE nest.) The little branches on the owl tree have been blowing about and there is no shadow.

We were traveling all day and I couldn't wait to arrive at our destination to check on the owlets. I can't believe I missed Minny leaving! Tiny looks lonely down in the nest. But I'm sure he can hear his brothers and sisters moving about the tree, even if we can't see them. It probably won't be long now before he joins them. :chick:

thank you for the reports from the other side of the globe all through the night. now it is our turn to tell what tiny is doing.

at the moment she/he is sitting in her/his drey/nest and very quiet. but I think we must not be anxious. tiny and klaara are still in contact. and the siblings are not so far away so they could hear each other.

Tiny is calling for food and is examining the trash at the bottom of the nest.

Tiny's hesitating all the time. I'm glad that he hasn't left yet.
What's the strange warble? Never heard such sound from our owlets :puzzled:

The empty nest feeling has begun... Although I'm happy for all the owlets to have successfully fledged, I'm sad to see them go.

Godspeed little ones.

Many thanks to all the people who made this wonderful cam possible. I look forward to seeing Klaara and Klaus again someday.
