Too bad, really.
What could have disturbed the female?

The female quota is really not right.
I remember that it was the same with blackbirds after bird flu.

But we can still hope for a few days. =)

But inturn...Irma's nest is constantly visited by other females. :puzzled:

This year is really strange... .

:hi: Polly, we consider maybe the female has an own nest and a husband waiting for her and she only made a stop-over here at Teo's nest ??? That would be also possible.

Balistar, great descriptions and pictures, thank you. And thanks to everyone else, too.

Balistar, I do know, Teo, but I didn’t know of his eye. Thank you! I think that I was only seeing a side view, and I was thinking about the new female, when I was mistaken. Welp, it’s sad that she was on her way elsewhere.
I think that there is still a small chance that Teo will get a mate. Fingers crossed for Teo!

The same for Irma, I have some hope that she is taking small breaks — getting fishes from gentlemen Ospreys, on her path home.

10.52
Teo arrived with moss.
Didn´t chase V28 off the nest.

I asked in chat nobody is sure if it´s male or female.

FINGERS CROSSED!!!

11.03 Teo arrives with more hay.
Keeps his back to the visitor.
They are both silent, Teo flies off again.
