UteL., to give you another answer: I guess, the storks will continue their flight to the north, if weather is getting better in the foreseeable future. I'm not an ornithologist, who has experiences with such bad weather conditions (most of us are laymen), but this tells me my intuition.
What happened, if the bad weather goes on for weeks, I suppose, nobody will know exactly. There are questions where is no answer in advance, and we can only wait and see what happens.
My assumption is, they continue their flight in every case. But if they breed then, when it's so late in time???

I remember that in 2010 was a very long winter. We had snow until Mai. After the snowmelt, you could see all the fireworks from 31 Dec-January
In this year Raivo arrived on 27.04. in his breeding area! Whether he's still breeding, only Urmas can know.

- yes, they breed and it is big problem for the chicks from this (very) late breeding
- time to time the nest can bee occupied with another stork (or new pair) and the answer can be not from this reason (looking for new nest, new partner) - we can see also (hard) fight for nest, ...

Eedi is flying good, looks healthy and ate
