Thank you Baiba!
Your sound is much much better than what I get from my laptop (same brand as Liz' laptop, she had written about the sound quality, but I don't remember in which thread). The variety of Anna's trills and other sounds is far better perceivable in your video.
And unlike what Anna usually does (I just posted something about the LSE Zemgale habits in the Estonian LSE thread ): this time she takes the food and flies over to the obs. trees.
Egg time for Andris!
Let's see if he will more than 5 minutes on the eggs ...
Yes, indeed! Andris is busy with preening and sunbathing and just taking a nice rest on the nest.
Just when you think you have discovered a pattern, it falls into pieces. Andris will have 23 (!) minutes for preening, resting and nestaurating here and there. Anna signals from time to time that she is in the area (short calls).
20:19: Anna returns with a fresh pine twig, she trills - and Andris has to leave.
The pine looks like barbed wire - an aromatic fence.
- There are some interesting alterations today. Three times Anna takes some time off, so to speak, which means: 15, 23 and 20 minutes for Andris: covering the eggs, resting etc.
08:17: Andris with a dark-furred rodent which might be a rat.
Anna leaves - egg- and nest-time for Andris.
He's resting, napping, etc. ...
08:48: ... until Anna returns with a leaf twig - poplar, I think. She had been signalling her presence in the area with calls from time to time. 30 mins for Andris!
The afternoon has been pretty boring for Anna. At 16:57, she flies over to the obs. trees. At 16:59, you can hear her call. She is not amused. Anna rushes back to the nest. And here's what annoyed her:
If you scroll back, the follower is seen from 16:59:47 on. In a swoosh, the stranger passes the nest, diving down at the left.- It doesn't look like a goshawk to me, it looks as big as Anna. ??? Any idea?

I think Anna got the prey outside the nest, Anna has a long neck. I think Andris flew past the nest
Good idea! I didn't even think about Andris! I would have expected him to either fly to the nest or, at least, branch at the left. Anna sounded so upset in my ears. (But perhaps this is what a little dispute/disagreement among Lesser Spotted Eagles sounds like ...)
