That fish is probably the one UM claimed from Ivo half an hour before - it was very big, even headless ...

There is still a big tail part left of that fish and UM takes it again in order to eat. This time UM finished it. EDIT: or did he? UP looks down on UM's feet and there can still lie remains of that big fish ...

And still more fresh fish, this time supplied by Iiris and UP looks like being the first in the feeding queue that Iiris aims to start, also UN is with. UM is satisfied, he just ate a short time ago.

UM has become very adventurous on the nest rims lately, I have heart in my throat sometimes, when I see him balancing on the most outer sticks

EDIT:
Ivo dropped the fish on the nest ground, and as none of the girls did a move to grab it but loudly squeezed and waited to be fed, UM walked carefully to the fish and grabbed it Ivo flew off.
Then Iiris came down from cam stand to nest. She looked at UM picking up the big fish and starting to work on it. Iiris made an attempt to take over the fish and to feed it (also to the girls), but:
UM pecked at Iiris, when she attempted to take the fish !!
That was already the second time i saw him pecking at her when she wanted to take the fish.

I agree, also UP reminds of the self secure Oldie, always there controlling UM's doings Maybe we just imagine or think wishfully, but no-one can be absolutely sure ...

They are beautiful and healthy osprets indeed. I hope this season continues as happy and successful until the migration as it has been so far

This nest is known of its successful seasons, every cam year we have had privilege to follow osprets to migration
