Hello Ame, you can’t compare Storks to Cranes because they belong to completely different taxonomic orders!

yes, you are quite right. it was rather silly indeed, like comparing cats and dogs or cows and horses. or WTE and osprey. :laugh:
cranes are the closest similar birds to storks that i know. we don't have any in Finland. just on the south side of the Gulf there are thousands of white storks.


i saw that you have been surprised to see that Kati is still at home and feeding the storklets. hasn't the whole summer been late in Baltic countries? (at least in Finland summer is late. it almost has not arrived at all.) maybe she is late because of that?

all three are at home and still preening themselves. :D

Please, get flying more to gain skills and experience in flying but not in preening. :innocent:
