I just wanted to say my opinion:

You all are assuming that it's Kati ... but in reality as long there is no number-ring attached to the leg you can't be 100% sure!

Same as this so called "Karl the second" found this nest, can also a totally stranger female BS find this nest.

You all said that "kati accepted Kar the second so fast" ... so maybe this couple were a couple before at some other nest before founding this nest.

I have also written, that they must have met already outside the nest. This is a normal behavior.
That explains why they were so familiar. For me it was a sure sign that it was not her first mating, it worked immediately

The result of such meetings before they come to the nest you could see at the Latvian nest. The female arrived on April 7 and on April 11 we had the first egg in the nest. (2016)

In addition, such meetings are described in books.
