Michi you are welcome  Do you think there will be a fifth egg? I don't think so.
I simply don't know it, Liz. I don't know how probable is a fifth egg. And I can't remember five eggs at any nest I watched the last 5 years. :puzzled: In Gemenc they stopped after the fourth egg. I hope, here also.
In about 7 hours we will know more! :D

Thank you for the reports and pictures! The storks look really gorgeous and awesome with outspread wings!

For a while I have watched the evening activities at nest with scrolling back the youtube stream. It is a wonderful peaceful and quiet evening atmosphere. Both storks are very attentive to each other. Gaja is on the eggs, Kaupo is mostly preening himself; sometimes he preens Gajas head.
It's so lovely to watch them in these late hours. :D

I have taken some pictures of these nice moments:

20:47 Gaja was up for poop shot, digged the nest bowl and sat down again.

20:48 Kaupo carefully preens Gajas head

I'm curious if there will be a fifth egg here. That would be a very interesting nest for observation. :dunno:

That's amazing! I do not know if I should be happy or not. But I'm thankful that I'm allowed to see that.. five beautiful eggs. :headroll:

The food offer must be very good. And the habitat is close by. Gaja was back very fast yesterday and had a full crop.

6:15 Gaja flew away-
The beautiful clutch in color. Five eggs in a nest is great and unusual.
I hope we do not see a big drama. But it is to be expected, if all eggs are fertilized.

Kaupo is digging and aerating the nest bowl. Settles on the eggs.
