April 15th

It's then the fifteenth of April and no Duke Karl the first has arrived…

Karl's Family's Migration 2018-2019 was great to follow,
even though it is so sad that presumably only Karula and Kati
(and of course Uncle Eedi) are left of the family.

However, our Karl stays in our memories and also in BS history with his book: I'm Karl - A BLACK STORK.

To Karula I hope a lot of joy and happiness in his life !!!

Hello, Treia

Thank you for these words.
Whatever happened to our Karl, wherever he is, he will not be forgotten.
Karl was very dear to my heart.

Yes, may our little Karula be luckier than Maru and Päike and return safely to Estonia, in a few years.

In the context of Friends of the Earth Middle East's "Protecting Groundwater" project, videos were produced of all the participating municipalities. This one features the Jordan Valley Regional Council in Israel.

So, as Karl told us in his book, all young black storks stay far away from their home until they are adult birds? Probably Karula will live in Jordan Valley for the next years? As Summi said, Karula has chosen the best resort. :loveshower:

aquiline, Summi

Most probably, Karula will soon fly a little more northwards.
But not as far as Estonia. Not the first couple of years.
I'm grateful that we can follow his movements.

The afternoon map:

It looks the same as the morning map? :puzzled:

The graphic looks OK, I think.

Hello all together,

so, our Karl has not returned to Estonia ... As I‘m on a journey, I can‘t read every day.
Treia wrote: April 15th, 2019, 10:20 am It's then the fifteenth of April and no Duke Karl the first has arrived…
......

However, our Karl stays in our memories and also in BS history with his book: I'm Karl - A BLACK STORK.
I want to thank you, Treia, of reminding on Karls book. Although I get tears in my eyes, thinking of it... thinking of Karl.
I am Karl, a Black Stork, - it’s good that we have this wonderful book (Anne and Jo :hi:). It makes Karl deathless, everlasting.

Wherever you are, my beloved Karl, fly high! You stay always in my heart.

Michi, I feel the same.
