Yes, that's a fight, they got scared of 'something' and where running both away.
What a terrible sound!! :shock:

'our' two racoons where running away scared and a few seconds later that screaming sound...other racoons? a fox?

Palun andke kogenematule nõu... tahaksin ka vahvaid pilte endale salvestada... aga ei oska :banghead: .

Racoon dogs are back (and already gone again)!

about the screams: I´m sure it were the racoon dogs we saw an hour ago. Normally those screams are mating calls, but there I´m quite sure it was not the case. I don´t know this species enough from own experience to be able to say what (s)he wanted to "say", but I think it was just a normal contact call.

what a luck we have a forum now!
last year i heard these horrible screams and
i was sure something very very bad happened. :shock:
i didn`t know then what raccoon`s voices sound like...
