On this video all parts of this morning's Raven's bathing and playing in the fresh snow are edited together.
The birds sometimes dissapear in the snow;-)
Only a few times the White Tails appear :

I also converted the same clip to HD-1280x720.

Yes Sulli went after fledging to Latvia. He was 30.10.2009 on Skrunda fishponds. He and other Saunja juveniles haven´t seen afterward. Before installing webcam one juvenile from same nest born in 2007 was seen Feb 2009 close to our feeder, in March 2009 in Saaremaa island and Dec 2010 in Sõrve (also Saaremaa island).ame wrote: have you heard anything about Linda's and Sulev's offspring? if i remember right Sulli was photographed somewhere in 2010 as a year-old... or was it?![]()

@Dima дима-- Beautiful video of the fox eating! It looks very healthy & fat.
@Raveleijn-- Fantastic video of the snowy ravens. I, too, love to see them playing & flirting in the snow. They are wonderful, intelligent birds.

Renno thank you for all the information recently -- even the sad news --
I really hope that a new feeding ground will be found. This cam is so interesting -- even when it is only ravens we learn. They are such charming birds.
Although I love seeing the changes at one spot from one year to another, if we find a new spot it will give us a chance to see a whole new collection, or a partially new, or very similar collection of eagles, which would provide more information about the eagles of the region.
So my very best wishes for finding a new equally wonderful spot to get insight into the wildlife of Estonia (and beyond.)
Wednesday 13 March
Good Morning
6:13
It looks to me like there is new food and I have now heard ravens Gwoarking.
It looks like that at about 6:14 there were many birds, ravens I think flying about -- none landed at the food for a few minutes.

I have been watching since the daylight came today, & now it is really snowing hard. It is actually pretty but I know everyone is ready for spring. It is on the way, judging by the ravens' flirting behavior!
Now I am off to bed, I am more sleepy since our time change here in the USA. But before I go, here is a quick snapshot of a raven flying through the snowy sky. Now Goodnight / Good day to all, enjoy the cam while we still have it a few more days. Stay warm, everyone!

Yes, hard snowing. In Käsmu there was also lots of snow on land and on the sea ice. But in my place (Middle-West) is sunshine and no sign of snowing (yet), lol.

why the feeding place has to be changed?alice44 wrote:Renno thank you for all the information recently -- even the sad news --

i had understood that it is generally a huge effort and it is questionable whether even another feeding is installed. which will determine whether there will be a (new) camera in the next season again? who could do something about it? how can anyone support the cam? would help donations?
