Nice life at the nest. Ivo is noticed and he deserves it
I wonder with which sense do the birds recognize each others' gender ...?

Hallo. Nice to be back.
I got some snapshots of the mating a few minutes ago, but I've forgot how to put them in the forum. Can somebody please remind me.

Alarm, she went rapidly to the right. My imagination .. could Irma be there already chasing away her?

She is back in some minutes

Someone scared the unringed female off the nest. She went to a branch behind and fluttered there, then took off

For a moment one can see a bird flying in the upper right corner, but too short and far away to identify the shape/species

18:26 the unringed female is on the nest. She may have been there a while; I just started looking now.

This female looks a little like Irma with her fluffy "hair". Somehow I get an impression that she is not very young ... :puzzled: It cannot, of course, be Irma, she can not have got rid of both her rings (plastic yes, but not the metal ring).

She chirps alert and mantles the nest, some one is threatening her from upside ... :puzzled:

Exactly my thoughts! She looks like Irma, especially because of the head feathers and because she looks older.

Somebody's got the same thoughts as me. :D
I also think that she is something in Ivo's age...maybe widowed?

I like to leave such estimates to experts but my gut says so.

I like it a lot.
Unlike Ivo's last bridging until Irma's return last year. She works gently.... . =)
