Ferenz, can you record the stream with VLC? i can't. :puzzled:
i can record with Potplayer, but if the stream stops it will not restart by itself. i'll have to restart it.

it had stopped again after about 13 min. the J-E stream usually stops only at about 13:30 each day. that's funny.

i downgraded to 2.1.5 Rincewind and now that is working.

i have no time to figure out what was wrong, nor to download a newer version. the Weatherwax said it's the latest version. as long as i have a working version which is not terribly old it's good enough for me. :whistling:

edit: the stream has been stable now for about half an hour.
i made a small experiment: i recorded the stream with both the Potplayer and the VLC. Potplayer makes mkv-format video about 13 Mby/min and the VLC makes mp4-video about 14 MBy/min. that's almost the same.
the difference is that mp4 format seems to have slightly better resolution (clearer picture). maybe i should change the Potplayer format to mp4. :puzzled:

edit again: i made another experiment, recording both mkv and mp4. the difference in picture quality is so small that i don't think that it can be seen after the Y-tube treatment.

btw: it's raining in the forest, a lot of plain water. 8-)

i hear sounds of swan wings all the time. mute swans, they sing with their wings, not with their throats (larynx). :D

10:01 after the voice some footsteps.

10:02 one more voice. this sounded like coming from behind our back but rather close.

two willow tits on the nest. both working hard.
(i think they are willow tits, and not marsh tits, but they didn't give their signature voices.)
the first was on the nest most of the time. it came from the right.
Image

the other came later and was on the right almost out of sight, in the area which i've marked with the pink circle.
Image

the little bird made some really big banging on the nest.
