Yes! But that has been also a problem :puzzled:
As they can walk around they don't worry to train and are very very late
They should have start to make small flights, more than one week ago, as they are already 78 and 77 days old :faint:
But now they are more interested in training :whistling: so maybe this weekend something will happen

So they will have beaten the record of Ms. Litlle? Anyway, why should they hurry up: they have plenty of time till October.

One of the storklets is walking out while another is flapping with his wings a lot.

I am confused!
Are there two cameras and two locations? Vulture and BS? Beautiful bird. Renandeli's slideshow has a close-up of the vulture's head!

Hi Jo!
The vulture cam can be operated. It's location is over a griffon vulture nest that was occupied by a Ruppell's Vulture. As the Ruppell is alone, the cam last year was pointed to the griffon nest (the only nest that was visible from the cam) and this year to the BS nest (the only one that is visible). But from time to time the operator makes some tours to look around and see the other nests, and today the Ruppell was caught looking at the BS nest :rotf:

A video that shows well all the nests in Portas de Ródão. Plus the Ruppell's vulture leaving and the BS training :loveshower:

They are kind of like the owlets flying up the walls of their nest -- except their nest walls are rock and such a drop off!
