Jo, the time stamp is really very small! Maybe you can ask Urmas to make it bigger
Urmas will ask Omar if it is possible to change the display of the date/time stamp. Some cameras can be changed. Some cannot. Let's hope Omar can fix it.

Thanks, Jo! :hi:

12:40 Did someone fly over the nest? Karl II looks up.
Image

12:41 Is the curved branch slippery on this side?
Image

12:48 Or maybe on this side?

I need to do something else now

Anne7 wrote: April 13th, 2022, 11:30 am Perhaps Uncle Eedi arrived in Karula Park, and came to greet his neighours?
Yes, Eedi should have arrived today, so it could be him.

@asteria and @Anne7 :wave:

It is reassuring that Eedi has also arrived in Estonia.
Maybe it really was Eedi, because he sometimes comes to the nest to see if the neighbors are already there.

Many thanks @Jo UK.
I always need a magnifying glass, but even with a magnifying glass I can only guess at the time stamp. :whistling:

15:14 Karl II comes to Kaia.
He has sneaked up. Kaia didn't recognize him from afar?

15:32 Kaia flies a circle through the forest.
The curved branch is very slippery. Kaia slipped.

Karl II pushed her, accidentally.

17:16 Karl II comes back.

Image

Karl II is alone. Kaia must be very hungry because she spent a lot of time in the nest today.

Image

18:04 He flies away.

Hi all!

Glad to see our storks made it back to the home nest in good shape and especially spirit.
12 minutes from first greetings to first mating. They definitely mean business.

Been so buried in work I've missed important events, thank you all for keeping the forum so up-to-date.
Let's hope the summer will be good and productive storklet-wise.
Will be interesting to see what the night vision reveals about K & K's secret life.

Anne, :hi: I remember it! She did it last year too. But here I thought she was climbing on his head :rotf:
She changed her mind and just got on his back

Apart from being playful, she may also be a bit bossy, I think. :D

He will probably spend the night alone again.
There is no reason for Kaia to spend the night in the nest yet.

That is true, Swenja.
And it's probably better for her night's rest, too. :D
Karl II has a bit of a “hormonal overdose” at the moment, I think. :D

And while Karl II is decorating the nest tomorrow morning, she can go fishing in peace. It is important to start the egg-laying process happy, well fed and rested. :2thumbsup:
