So our Kergu is still without a female

Despite the time frame for an optimal start for breeding is shrinking, I am still brushing away my thoughts that this nest might stay without storklets this season ....

Good morning everybody!

Kergu has spent the night on his nest and hasn't left it until now (10:07).
He works here and there, and here, you see him singing and 'advertising' the beautiful nest and the shiny to-be male mate. Ah, where are the girls?



It seems he tries out another method: Staying on the nest as long as his hunger allows, signalling to every female in the vicinity: beautiful nest! Beautiful male!

There is often a wonderful light on this nest in the morning and evening hours and Kergu's beak and legs then appear as if freshly colored.

Girls, don't be foolish. Here is KERGU and an apartment with a balcony!!!

I can really only imagine that there's just no one around. Kergu is an experienced male, the nest is fine... It just seems that nobody knows it's and he's there...

We should sende him that pretty black stork girl from Germany that found a white stork partner. She would be better with Kergu.
