14: 59 Dear Ivo, you should know by now that it doesn't work out crosswise!

If, and I say IF you would like something more of slow-tv there is a nonstop broadcasting with several cameras from a place in Sweden called Junsele, where a lot of moose are about to swim across one of the greatest river. No one have yet crossed but they are in the area and walk around hesitating and come closer and closer to the river. Here is a link to where you can choose live = "direkt" or higlights from earlier days.

Ivo landed in the nest. Big branch, but Ivo knows how to place it.

So, I understand that the other female is no longer here.
Only one female remains, of the two.

17:29 Ivo is off.

Jojo, your 9yr old students are very fortunate to have you as their teacher!

Håkan, thank you for the link. Moose, crossing the river, sounds very interesting.

Irma, we are anxiously awaiting your arrival. We miss your beautiful knowledgeable face and your voice! :loveshower:

IceAge, the mating appeared to be more of an attempt.
The female had other things on her mind.
Are both females still with Ivo?

:hi:
It seems to me that Ivo is a very smart bird.

He keeps a new female in his nest. Feeds... but he doesn't try to mate actually. He knows how to do it, but he doesn't do it …

So - if he expects to Irma arrives ... but at the same time keeps a close a potential mate.

Ivo does not want such a scenario as Madis and Piret nest were

Ivo does/did "work" with other females before Irma's return, for instance 2017:

viewtopic.php?p=541327#p541327

As I have understood, Ivo has also mated successfully with the current female ...

I still wish that Irma returns :2thumbsup: - her arrival has earlier been as late as 24th April-

The current female looks like a male (from the breast), but acts like a female ... :puzzled:
