So was last year.
Eaglets jump and stamp branches. At construction of a nest they lay down not densely. Now everything is condensed. Therefore the nest becomes slightly wider in the diameter.
Yeah, much wider.. Impressed of the construction, thanks for answer!

12:35 Raimis brought a silver fish, similar to the one he brought in the morning. Milda started to cry like the eaglet. all three cried. :rotf:
Milda took the fish. Raimis flew to the Observation Oak.
Milda started feeding the kids.

he started to fly to the left but he vanished out of my sight right away so i could not see where he flew.

12:41 Milda cleaned the nest. i think she found the old dry fish on the back rim of the nest and ate some of it.
12:47 she jumped to the right branch.
about half a minute later she flew away.

12:56 Rika made WE. then she pooped. then she continued WE. she worked with the complicated stick... they both have the bad habit of tinkering the sticks on the nest. :slap:

12:59 both started to look in the sky on the right with their necks extended high...

15:24 Rika made WE and then pooped.
15:26 Rika made more WE & CE with the sticks on the nest. Miks stretched his wings.

I went back to 2015 - season of Durbertina/ Angelina

She started branching at 70 days.

She flew for the first time on July 4th, 81 days old.

Her first flight and her landing, after a night on parents tree, were perfect.

It was such a pleasure to read those pages again :loveshower:

they had a long WE session around 5 pm. :2thumbsup:
17:20 Rika made WE.
17:21 more.
17:24 more.

17:25 Rika kicked Miks in the bottom: a catch exercise.
17:25 Rika made WE.

17:26 Miks made WE & CE.

Rika is making such powerful WE that i believe that she will fly perfectly when she decides to do so. i think she'll skip the branching. she has done it once and that's enough for a cool girl like her. she has seen branching a lot so she knows how it is done. branching is for kids. :whistling:

Sonchik wrote: June 28th, 2019, 11:13 pm At 12:29 something fell and woke eaglets.
i think it was a stick which fell from under the nest, somewhere near the microphone, all by itself. it wasn't windy, no-one moved.
