Solo, thanks for all the updates.
I'm curious where the Makov storklet will go. To Senegal, to Mali? Or will it stay in the south of Spain?
Black storks are timid and this stork is looking for human dwellings, halls. That doesn't seem very good to me. May he be lucky!
We will watch two more adult storks - it will be good to know where they winter ....

Hana,
-

Purple has often localisation in urban areas
- it is also one other possibility: migration direct to south (Tunisia - Algeria)
- we will see as always and we can only hope for successfully fly to the wintering area
edit:
or will storklet stay in France (how the white stork Kuruka from Uznach)

PL, Łodz - Dąb 2 (Oak)
(nest
https://youtu.be/IavRetMqfBk)
adult storks: Fermina (F) + Florentino (M)
chicks: the elder sibling - Finezja, the younger storklet Gapcio (or Farciarz resp. Fart )
No i wyrwała się dziewczyna przed szereg!

Finezja opuściła granice Polski 25 sierpnia i do 29.08. przeleciała 1232 km
, średnio 246,4 km dziennie.
Dwa razy przelatywała nad Karpatami. Najwyższa zarejestrowana przez logger wysokość przelotu to 2718 m n.p.m.⛰, a największa prędkość to 77 km/h
FINEZJA (29.08.)
GAPCIO - the battery has failed
(https://www.facebook.com/LasyPanstwoweL ... =3&theater)
Hana: the remaining black storks, which flew from nests that year with GPS are in Romania, Moldova, Hungary and Poland.
btw. they have own FB page:

we were little worried about CNIG 04 in middle July, when it was in this (very nearby) area (viewtopic.php?p=752567#p752567) - there is probably not the best GSM coverage
