11:46 Rika made WE and kicked Miks (practically jumped on his neck ).
this time Miks protested loud.
In your video starting at 11:46:30 Rika stops making WE after stumbling on Mikas shoulders. Mika starts WE soon after getting up after Rikas kick and continues throughout. Rika starts again at 12:18.

19:35 Rika pooped.
there must have been more PS but i have missed them. it's not so necessary now as both have eaten well.
Ame, what do you consider having eaten well regarding Rika and Mika at this stage/age?
Today for example, Rika ate the smaller half of the first fish, then again a few bites of that fish or of the second fish Raimis brought when Milda later fed her. Mika ate a good third (?) of the first fish, and the head and may be a bit more of the second.
Then he got a few bites fed by Raimis of the big fish brought at 7:24. That fish left the nest with Raimis and returned later as fish tail, of which however Mika had nothing, Rika some bites, the rest was eaten by Milda. So all in all - unless I missed more fish being delivered - they had each approximately a medium sized fish today. Is that a good ration? Or does the daily intake count less in comparison to what they eat e.g. in a week? And what about their difference in size: How much more must Rika eat to get the same amount of nutrients as Mika?

15:29 Rika pooped. then she made WE.
15:31 more WE & CE by Rika. Miks tried to interfere by pulling Rika's wing feathers. Rika didn't seem to notice at all what Miks was doing. she was probably so excited about her exercise.
At 11:50:18 it was exactly the reverse: Mika made a PS, then vigorous WE, while Rika tried to hold on to his wing feathers without him taking much notice.

Foreshortenings not absolutely identical.
...
My brain hid from me process, giving only ready result - "it is Rika", "it is Mika". I had to think much to understand how it does it.
...
The head shots are great, as are all the other illustrations. And I am glad to hear you had to think to understand how you distinguish the eaglets. I mostly get them right (as often as possible I seek confirmation in your comments), but I could not tell what it is that guides my perception. As Ame said, it seems intuitiv somehow, a mixture of posture, movement, expression as much as colour, form or other elements. Very interesting to see in your detailed list all the pieces that make the whole, all the factors that get into the brain's calculation to produce the result.

Sonchik It was really awful.
It was Rikas bone here she pulled the bark off
7:20 both are doing WE. Miks on the left higher branch
7:21 Miks jumps down into the nest and grabbed Rika's "bone"
Rika attacked Miks. In the end Miks is standing on the left with head down

Good Morning!
During the season, eagles are very often on "our dining table"... We discuss them and compare to previous etc.
Yesterday, someone asked a question: We saw Rika's capacities and we know that she is jumping high now and is very tall and strong.
We see that she is not daring to jump to the left branches. Why ?
And one of the answer was: She accept it as a territory of Miks and respects it.
What do you think?? Why is she avoiding the L branches?
