Diwrnod braf heddiw.
What a beautiful morning and the 3 eggs are clearly visible as LJ2 and LM6 both take turns incubating them.

Noswaith dda, good evening.
A lovely video showing a handover this morning, nice view of both birds and the eggs. Also little video of LM6 landing on the perch after an earlier handover, bit misty.

Y diweddaraf o'r nyth. Update from the nest.
Today's intruder at Brenig is two year old Blue 372(21), previously sighted at Llyn Clywedog on the 28th April.
Seen here on the Brenig camera perch, Blue 372(21) was relocated from Scotland to Poole Harbour in 2021.

You will all be excited to hear that the second osprey camera has gone live online. This is a mobile camera that we can control from the centre and will give us a different perspective on the nesting pair at RSPB Loch Garten, Abernethy
Happy watching!

Crisis has been averted this week with the return of Brodie and lots of fish coming onto the nest once more! Here is a run down of the best shots from the nest over the past week.

Woodland Trust
Nest 2: Louis and Dorcha are in residence. Eggs were laid on April 21, 24 and 27. One of the eggs has been lost over the side in a tawny owl attack in the early hours of Tuesday morning (23rd). Osprey eggs generally hatch 35-37 days after laying so were were expecting to see our first chick around May 26. But as we don't know if it was the first egg that was lost its difficult to predict now.

Well, not quite in time for @BBCSpringwatch , but not far off. At 22:17 the first chick hatched under the cover of darkness. Brilliant! See you in the morning little one!!

We're on cloud nine watching the first Osprey chick on the nest this morning, occasionally getting glimpses when CJ7 and 022 pause incubation.
There is now a large hole in the second egg as well, though it could still take a while until the chick fully emerges. You can watch live through our webcams below:

Both newly hatched chicks getting fed by parents CJ7 and 022 this afternoon. Both seem to be doing great already and seem to have grown since this AM!

It looks very much like we can expect a hatch today on Camera 2.
There have been signs of "pipping" last night and this morning.
