No problem balistar. Hope I see you later again.

Smart little one again in the middle position, so it's right. 8-)

Then he took the fish again and flew to the roops. He is eating for himself.

2022.10.06 - Boston Island - It's Ian & Margaret Falkenberg's 49th wedding anniversary today and what more could he ask for. Calypso, one of the first Osprey he banded back in 2019, bringing in nesting material to a 'man-made' Osprey nest on Boston Island.

Fan Liz Barnett :
She's her father's daughter, almost dropped the lot on her partner. Keeping an eye out for green rope.
Fan Maureen Buckley :
Please don't remind them about the green rope . :D

2022.10.09 - 21, 20 & 17 days old - Mum is watching from a nearby perch. Funny how they try and snuggle into one another.

2022.10.08 - Boston Island - Calypso may have to show a little dominance if she wants this nest. This pair of Nankeen Kestrel spent all day making themselves very comfortable.

2022.10.09 - Tumby Island - The salt spray is not helping with the clarity on the camera but it is easy to see two eggs still on Tumby Island - still have just over a week to go for the chicks to make their entrance.

2022.10.10 - 22, 21 & 18 days old. Just like our own kids, these siblings sometimes fight. All is good, they can each hold their own, and they will be fine.

It shows more now, that #1 is very dominant and pugnacious chick. In the moment Dad brings not enough fish, so the agression is stronger. I've read in chat, that poor lil had last full crop at Tuesday.
I hope the things will change soon.

Edit: Just now I saw #3 made a ps, so it must had something yesterday.

They will eventually decide on the order of pecking, and the little ones learn to wait and sneak up on opportunities for food. Because of the climate change, I can only hope that the weather will be mild, allowing Dad to fish well, and that there are not too many intruders.

Yes, seira! We knew the history from this nest, I wish it will never come back.

The crop from lil 3 after the fish from 20:03, it was a nice feeding for it.

Thank you, Mommy, you are great!

Still some bites from the evening fish for #3 during night.

2022.10.14 - Not for the faint-hearted. One minute they are all snuggled up together and then there is food - and manners get tossed aside.
