7:28 the camera started.

it looks c o l d. brrr....


someone wrote in the YT chat early in the morning that it was -25 degrees in Riga. the weather forecast predicts -14 here in the morning.

It's hard for birds to feed themselves.

13:09 a great tit's voice... he was under the nest.

then on the left


then on the front! and it was a she, a female!

13:17 a nuthatch was talking near the nest but a crested tit visited.
he had a quick bath in the snow.


- i have no idea if this was a he or a she.




someone has been practising at the race track. there has been loud car noise for more than two hours. - since 11:30 to be more precise.

16:46 a crow flew nearby and cawed. he came to have a look at the nest. (out of our sight)

The bird screamed near the nest from 14:38. At 14:41, the bird flew to the spruce tree on the right.

this was a jay.
