Hi, Liz! I was hoping too to see Durberta. Nevertheless good to see eagle of similar age.

thank you Lianaliesma!
i sent a message to Janis, too, but i see that i was too late.
this was a third winter eagle then. i wonder if it was a girl and the other eagle her boy friend.
or the other way round.

Well, this nest seems to be very popular. So far we've seen:
25.02 - 2 adults together (one without rings, second with Estonian ring M1204 + E325 (year 2015))
27.02 - 1 adult (no rings)
01.03 - at least 4 eagles in the evening (one adult without rings, one 3-4 years old and two youngsters)
05.03 - 2 adults together (no rings, resident couple)
06.03 - 2 adults together (no rings, resident couple) and 1 youngster in the evening
07.03 - 1 4-years old (Latvian ring H468 (year 2017)) and 1 another

17:20 Female went to the right and flew off.. I have to check it
17:23 back with a branch .. male-female?
17:26 one of them flew out
17:28 Back with a branch
My conclusion. They're both probably the same age, both have frayed tail feathers and the markings are very similar .. that'll be fun! I wish they would mate. Then I would know who, who is
pictures of her tail feathers
17:41 he flew away too

Good evening
Many thanks to Urmas Sellis (Eagle Club Estonia), Omar Neiland (Beta Grupp OÜ) and helpers from Estonian Environmental Board for the opportunity to observe this beautiful nest. Hopefully the actors will be * nice * to us.
Thank you Ame, Liz (wonderful pictures) and thank you Triine for all the information about the nest.
Camera is super camouflaged.
