Altynay comes to comfort two eaglets. The youngest had died about 4 hours earlier. Prolonged rains, cold, hunger and the incessant aggression of the oldest eaglet contributed to this.

Eaglets flap simultaneously their wings, in anticipation of feeding.

June 17.
Altynay brings a branch and then Altyn comes with a gopher. The feeding begins.

Windy day. Altyn brings a gopher. Eaglet #1 expresses his/her interest, but doesn't try self-feeding. Altyn also waits for Altynay to come.

Powerful shot! Good thing that it was low.

Altynay brings a twig. But the eaglets don't appreciate it. A moment later Atyn brings a prey and #1 mantles it...

Self-feeding, wing flapping... "Hey, why are you hitting me?"

Both eaglets jumping and wing flapping. Coordination isn't perfect yet.

Coordination rather poor, but the sibling doesn't complain.

Some wing flapping. H11 first, H12 later.

Jumping, quite high sometimes...

Altyn brings a gopher. Batyr (H-12) mantles it. He hopes for a feeding service, but no luck. Almet (H-11) steals the prey.

The eaglets seem to enjoy the rain, while the parent, in the background, is completely unmoved.

Altyn brings a big gopher. Batyr mantles it. Then Almet slowly approaches and show some interest. But Batyr does not want to share. Almet's attempts to steal the prey fail.
