11:22 a willow tit hanging upside down on the poop branch first and then on the right branch. tzää-tzää!
if the tit hadn't made voices it would be impossible to know if it were a willow tit or a marsh tit, but this tit called. it was a willow tit Poecile montanus (formerly known as Parus montanus).

the jays are busy today.
12:07-8 jays were quarrelling nearby. (tawny owls sleep in the daytime. they are true night owls. in fact they used to be called night owls, at least in Finnish).
https://youtu.be/WzXJMGtLfaM

12:12 there were perhaps even two jays visiting.
12:13:47 two jays flew away to the right.

12:20 a jay was talking very near ...then it became visible under the nest low on the right and another jay came up for a visit.

that's what they do to me, too.

12:29 the jay was first under the nest and then came up to the branches
12:29:48 the jay flew from the outer left branch and landed probably on the camera branch. the scenery was swinging a little.
12:30:11 the scenery was swinging more so i think that the jay took off then. after that the jay talked somewhere under the nest out of sight.
12:35:33 the jay flew away to the spruces on the right.

i have been waiting to see when they'll come and collect the acorns they hid inside the nest in the autumn. it will be hard work to dig them up.
- now i saw that Digna125 (in the chat) has had the same thought. :D
