No WTEs. The cam was mostly off last night and this morning, we can get a glimpse at the situation around 06:00, and then the cam is off again.

Eagle Day! Good morning Matsalu, good morning to all!

10:09 f.: 'Smiley' arrives and lies down in the nest bowl - test,test,test - approved.



She has now moved to the p-branch and is preening herself.

10:32/33: She returns to the nest bowl. It's rather windy today.

[Susanne]

11:18: Nice PS, well over the rim. - And back on the p-branch.
11:24: I thought she would leave soon - but she returns to the nest bowl once more. Yawn! Lying down again, this time she turns her beautiful back on us.

11:46: The cam is turned off.
- Cam is back since approx. 12:02: 'Smiley' is still there

12:07: It begins to rain, 'Smiley' leaves her comfy bowl and perches on the p-branch.
12:40: Another nice PS.

13:47:03: Buffering stream. - 'Smiley' still on the p-branch, meanwhile she has turned around.

Susanne, I'm also happy to see Smiley.

IceAge! So am I, really. She's an amazing female, after all! (It took me some days to get over the disappearance of the 'ringed Lady' whom I also liked very much. But 'Smiley' has slowly won my heart with her perseverance. And she just seems to be the perfect match for E 340.

15:57: 'Smiley' jumps down on a lower branch and is out of sight.

16:05 ff.: Just for the record: Noise of military aircrafts (fighter jets).

18:36: 'Smiley' leaves the lower branch at the right and returns to the nest.

19:25: Healthy PS from the p-branch.
19:31: Small PS.
19:32: Off she flies - to the left, uttering some calls.

- She's been at the nest site for over 9 hours. Preening, resting, yawning, probably napping, we know they are early birds, so she must have had a large breakfast.

Yippieh! It's even getting better: Here comes Monsieur E 340!



19:44:55 sth.: E 340 flies away to the right.

Good morning to all!

No, no WTEs, but at
10:33: a bird I don't know on the p-branch , chasing away a tit and making a probably characteristic sound when flying to the right (squeaking).

the camera is back and Smilie is gone.

Between 20:41 and 20:45, 'Smiley' must have gone - the cam was in 'on-off'-mode all the time, so: no idea where she has gone to. Maybe on a lower branch? It was raining, she was preening and napping and preening and napping.
