7:44 one is thirsty calling?
7:46 It's Bonus he/she is still begging for water or is Kaia on the left?

7:49:53 Bonus is clattering with the beak and stopped. So Kaia was on the left
7:56 Kaia brings water.. so it was a thirsty call by Bonus

It is interesting that Bonus called for water! I have learn to understand him in this nest. Kaia reacted normal, she brought water!
This is all extremely interesting to me

8:03 Kaia brings wet moss

8:05 three are twittering.. Bonus is calling and nodding

8:12 Kaia leaves .. Bonus pooped into the nest
it will take a while till he can cope with the situation. or he'll never get used to it, we'll see

8:22 Kaia is still on the curved branch

8:17 defending by Bonus - Kaia with wet grass and water
8:18 Kaia went on the curved branch. Nodding by Bonus

8:24 Kaia leaves and Bonus calmed down. He will miss his plastic Mom and Toru and his siblings

8:32 Kaia brings wet grass again

At a Latvian nest there were visits from strange storks almost the whole season! every day. Each arrival of the strange female was fended off. Sometimes for hours and as I said, for the entire time.
The stranger wasn't a threat, she didn't do anything bad, but they never got used to it
That doesn't mean it can't get better here. We will keep watching and hoping

the same on a polish nest. Strange female was there day by day. I think those were the previous nest owners. But that is only a guess

Thank you @Liz01!

The chicks do not join in the call for refreshments.
Rather, they seem to signal that they have had enough.
08:25 Kaia flies away. Bonus rattles.

The chicks are sleeping.
Bonus doesn't quite know what to do with Kaia. The chick is very insecure.

Image

#1 gets up, ps and lies down again.

Image

Bonus lies down too. S/He calls softer, but doesn't stop.

The feeding at 07:42 is very interesting. #1 touches Bonus with his beak a lot at the beginning.
It looks like #1 wants to make sure Bonus doesn't behave that complicated. Maybe like soothing touches.

#2 is lying still in the nest when Kaia has already arrived.

As Kaia took off, Bonus clattering and then called for refreshment. But the other chicks don't join in his call.

At this point I put the video again.

Hello!
I only watched around 1 o'clock.
a chick, it was sitting on the left, breathing heavily and wheezed like a hedgehog in a mating mood .
(I can not tell them apart  )
it only half stood up at 1:03 and pooped out of the nest, on its knees.

Thank you very much @biker!

Today, occasionally, very quietly, a clicking breathing can be heard. But it's not like last night.
It seems to be #1 making those breath sounds. But it really can't be determined exactly.

Many thanks, Liz and Swenja! :2thumbsup:
