From the YT chat:
Edmund Rachinskis

Hello! The Black stork was in this nest a few times this year, but for a very short time and relatively lazily - whistled, turned around, but did not start to collect cones and did not bring moss to the nest.
The pine tree is green, the platform under the nest was built by Jānis Ķuze.
The fir cones were already scattered during the winter by a speckled woodpecker for forging.

Also on April 7th, were two Black Storks at the nest - one in the nest, the other on the platform near the edge of the nest at the bottom of the frame, but did not climb inside and soon flew away.

This nest is in Pieriga. Since there will be no bears in the frame this time, they live in the farthest part of the "Riga forests", in Katrína forestry near Viċkenes.
I don't know the height of the nest to the top. in my memory it's about 10 meters

We are still waiting for the population history from Maris Strazds, but chicks have been here in recent two years (in the platform nest) and in the past in the natural nest on the side branch.

8:51 he is still defending. It would be better if the other one was here too. When they are together, an intruder has little chance

If it becomes a very labor intensive nest, I won't be able to keep track of it. I've decided on Urga and Ogres

9:05 I think it is over.. he sings after he was resting quite a while
9:06 he is singing again

second fight.. OMG! that looks bad!

Now I see it! That has to be a female  she attacks the female in the nest . and yes, she is absolutely brutal
Then it becomes confusing, like Jan and Janika's nest. The partner is also attacked.
What I mean by this is that either the male attacks his mate, or the female attacks her mate

She flies in and directly grabs the female's neck. I know this because the nest owners interacted shortly before
Image

Image

she won't let go of her neck. Luckily I've seen this before, but it's always shocking. I'm worried about everyone
