UK: Fears that eggs have been damaged in Mull eagle fight

“Rangers from the Mull and Iona Community Trust and RSPB watched in horror as the aggressive interaction between the resident pair and a bold – and unknown – third bird escalated. UK/Scotland: Perthshire eagle's disappearance 'highly suspicious'

According to the BBC, three golden eagles have disappeared in the very same area since 2014. Now a sea eagle is missing. All four raptors were satellite tagged. Read more: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-tay ... l-43822974

Update, UK/Scotland: Have you seen Blue X?

The female White-tailed Eagle, named Blue X, is still missing. She´s the daughter of the famous Turquoise Z, who raised chicks in two different nests last year. (See WtE Database, doc. #97: Love triangle for Scottish Sea Eagles http://looduskalender.ee/forum/viewtopi ... +Z#p547799 )

Germany: Triplets in the Gottorf Castle nest

It´s the second set of triplets for this breeding pair in northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein. The first set was born in 2016, but the youngest eaglet died. The 2018 chicks are three weeks old now, and local eagle watchers hope the raptors will survive.

Hungary: A new family for Ottó

The young bird had been removed from the parental nest end of March after the male eagle disappeared. According to the Duna-Ipoly National Park Directorate, the eaglet could be placed in a nest with two adoptive siblings now.
